Hi guys welcome back to my blog, I hope one or two of my posts have been helpful to you in the kitchen? Well today I have another simple but amazing home made recipe just for your consumption.
The idea came from my hungry stomach and my sweet tooth lol and I didn’t have anything to munch on so I decided to bake this yummy chewy oatmeal cookies and guess what? I didn’t use flour neither did I use an oven in this process because I was forced to improvise. anyways here you go!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Cup Oatmeal
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Pinch of salt
PROCEDURE:
For it it be a little more helpful I’ll add some pictures so you can see if what you are doing is turning out right.
• Firstly mix your butter and your sugar together in a bowl.
• Mix this together for about 5 min then add in your egg and keep mixing.
• keep mixing until it has a smooth consistency that looks like this
• then add in your oat meal. What I did with mine was to ground half of it and put the other half in the way it is, you put the grounded oat inside this mixture stir and put the raw oat after and mix well.
• after that add in your baking powder and your pinch of salt (you can add a little flavor this is optional)
• In the middle of doing this you can put on your stove or gas cooker and put your non stick pan glazed with butter on medium or low heat but it must not be high.
• Since we are already pre heating the pan we can go
Ahead and roll the mixture into small balls so as to get it ready to sit on the pan.
• once you are done put the small balls in the pan one by one pressing it with your hands to form a circle.. I will advice to do it 4 balls per round I’m the pan because it will still rise.
• After putting the balls in the pan now use a foil paper to cover the pan before using a cover over it so it can produce enough heat to bake the cookies.
This is how the cookies should come out once you leave it to bake for exactly 15-20 minutes (check your time)..
